If the previous version of SAP Business One, the previous number of characters is only 8 characters for a user code, but the user length can be input into 25 characters. This new rule will make user’s daily job more efficient and easier, because more characters can be input into system.
Same with Item Code.
Previously, the item code character length was only 20 characters, but now the item code length can be input to 50 characters. This makes it easy to make item code codes more variable.
The total length character for user code changed to 25 char and item code to 50 char can be found on SAP Business One 9.2.
